How to Set Your Preferred Name in Oracle

Setting Up a Preferred Name

1. Log in to Oracle
2. Click on the Me tab
   
3. Click My Public Info under the Quick Actions menu
    
4. Click Show More
5. Click Personal Details 
6. Under the Name heading, click the Pencil Icon
   
7. Enter the effective date of the change (use your start date if it isn't a name change).
   Enter the Preferred Name in the Preferred Name Field.
   Submit
