How to Submit a Termination in Oracle

Terminating an Employee

  1. Log in to Oracle
  2. Go to “My Team” on the navigation bar and click on the My Team TileUploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  3. Hover over the direct reports name you are wanting to terminate and then click on the ellipses next to the employee’s name

  4. Scroll down and click on TerminationUploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  5. Train Stop 1
    • Notification Date
    • Termination Date (this should be the last day worked for the employee)
    • What’s the way to terminate the employee
    • Why are you terminating your employee? – Partner with your HRBP before answering this question

  6. Train Stop 2
    • Revoke User Access – Choose after Termination
    • Rehire Recommendation (Consult with HRBP)Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  7. Train Stop 3
    • Optional Comments & Attachments (i.e. – Resignation Letter)Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  8. Review the information and then click SubmitUploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  9. After submitting the termination the termination will go to Human Resources for approval and then you will receive a checklist of items to complete. There are two ways to access this checklist.
    1. The first way is to click on the bell icon that will populate notifications for the employee to complete.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
    2. The second way is to click the Me tab on the navigation bar and then click on Checklist Tasks and then on Current Tasks.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  10. Click on each of the tasks and follow the instructions on the screen.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
